Ok i admit i do not know a huge amount about hds yet it is a very important part of any computer hehe, and since im building a new comp i need some advice, what is the top hard drive aorund atm, ie the fastest. Would it be some 10,000rpm SATA drive or a 15000 rpm SCSI drive? and also what companies make the best versions?, i will probably go for 1 small fast drive and anoter much larger 1 for storage, thnx

I think for the money, interface (ease of use) and performance you can't beat the Western Digital Raptor 74GB Serial ATA/10,000rpm. :attn:

74GB Raptor - Main OS and APPS
200GB Seagate - Storage/Backup (I recommended Seagate becuase they offer a 5 Year warranty)
