2 vid cards showing up

Working on an averatec laptop running xp pro with an intel extreme graphics controller card.When I got it it was producing errors that pointed at the vid card so I uninstalled/reinstalled with the latest drivers from intel.Both before and after the reinstall device manager is showing 2 of the same Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME graphics controllers?Why are there 2 of the same being listed?


Never mind I should have looked a bit harder at intel before posting.Says it's normal on this type of setup.

If you have a dual output video card (tv out, dual monitor) then it will usually show up twice.

Normally when its dual ouput, it will have the second stated one as "Secondary" thats what happened with my Radeon 9200SE.
