Hi,

Does anyone else use Outlook Express as their newsgroup reader? If so, can you do a check and see how much memory it uses up before you access the newsgroups and after it has updated the postings? I think that it uses up an excessive amount of memory.

Just opening OE, it uses up about 16mb. After having it and during the download of the new message headers, that jumps to almost 200mb.

Thanks in Advance.

That sounds pretty high. Not to plug or anything, but you may want to try out Mozilla Thunderbird. Does the same thing OE does, and is more secure and takes less resources (at least on my computer).
