I just got my x800 XT PE in.
In some games, like Counterstrike:Source, I cannot change the resolution to 1600x1200, do I have to do something?
I can go to 1600x1200 in desktop though.

No, I meant I cant even select that resolution for CS:S = \

some games dont let you go to that resolution, need for speed underground is another one but thats cuz it will be slow with all the graphics at high

NFSU2 will let u do 1600x1200, so will cs:s

Do you have ur monitor's drivers installed? ATI drivers installed? (should use 4.12 or 5.01)

Also, make sure the game is ran in FULLSCREEN, not windowed :)

your monitor is limiting you.

If you have a LCD it wont work unless its UXGA
If its a CRT it should work if its at least a 17". Although it is not recommended as the Raygun will not be working at its best quality / performance / lifetime rating

(max res for a 17" CRT is 1280x1024)
(max res for a 19" CRT is 1600x1280)
(max res for a SXGA LCD is 1280x1024)
(max res for a UXGA LCD is 1600x1280)
