A coldplate is necessary and a sheet of neoprene rather than a pre-fabbed one would probably be preferable. I've had good success beating condensation with dielectric grease such as luberex. The lengths you'll have to go to keep condensation at bay will be determined by, how much power you run to the pelt, how well you can remove heat from the hot side, & the relative humidity where you're using the system. What are you planning to power the tec with?

You have a small problem. You see how your maze4gpu has a little square that sticks down some, so it'll clear shims.

Yea, the peltier is bigger than that square. So, you either need to sand it flat (may work, not sure) or put something that conducts heat well around that raised area to make the whole thing flat.

Aswell, you're most likely missing any holes in the base of your gpu block to thread in a coldplate.

Yippee, off to the classifieds to find a Maze4-1 VPU, or at least the base & cold plates.
Cant find them any cheaper than $85-90, when I can find them.

Thanks
