i can fully agree - it needs to be stable - i do not run my @ 4ghz cause my ram is sucking up 3volts!! and my temps hit 60C - so until i get better ram and my WC i wont, but once i get all that iwill be happy to run my system as fast as i can get it - being totally stable.

On that note, i have had a system where prime95 fails instantly yet i can use it for hours on end gaming / compressing / using daily apps / inwamp / IM's / outlook and run seti or boinc and it is fine........

Unless its at 100% load it wont show the true speed. It took me 2 tries to get a 4ghz screenshot

I thought you said you could disable the throttling with RM Clock?

Put this in your pipe and smoke it :D

This is on air too.

I'll add more benchies as I run them.

1M digits in superpi = 32sec
Sandra bandwidth = 6200mb/s
3DMark2001 = 28501 (non oc'd x800 PE)
3DMark2003 = 13702 (non oc'd x800 PE)
Sandra CPU Arithmetic = 12472 MIPS / Dhrystone
Sandra CPU multimedia = Integer 30131 / Floating Point 40303

*note to self* When the rig is running good, leave well enough alone Matt!

I made 4ghz+ at last with my 3.4E D0 SL7E6!
4016 mhz with 17x236fsb and memory 1:1, Vcore 1.4875v, Vagp 1.65v, DDR at 2.72v.
CPU peaked at 55C during a successful run thru of 3Dmark 2001... ambient room temp is 22.2C.
Also ran SuperPi 1mg test in 33sec as well as Sandra 2005se Memory Bandwith and CPU Arithmetic tests.

I believe the OTES mod I did a few days ago helped the PWM to hang in there using my Antec 430w Truepower PSU, which is the weakest link getting this Prescott rig past 4ghz.

I'm finally a content little overclocker :p
