i usually keep my pc running 24/7 folding

anywho, this morning i woke up and my monitor wouldn't turn on...hmmm...weird.
so, i spent a while troubleshooting...

so i eventually i narrow it down to my video card, a radeon 9500 l-shaped memory card

i don't have an internal speaker in my case, so after a while (trying to get it to work), i test the 9500 in my sister's pc...

i get this error code:
"One Long and Three Short Beeps: Video (EGA) Display Circuitry"

so, experts, is my video card basically fried? and why would it just die for no reason? (i have decent cooling on it, vga silencer 3)
it wasn't o/ced at the time it died...nor for the past few weeks for that matter

system specs:
2.4c@250x12
p4p800
