Cannot synchronize with Symatec server

Whenever I try to run an update, that is the message I get. I have tried running default clocks. I don't understand why though, I am able to synchronize with any other preamble?!...

Are you running a firewall (zonealarm, etc) that may interfering?

Well, I am actually trying to update norton internet security, which includes a firewall...

My default windows firewall is disabled though.
