Ok, currently in my rig, I have the Asus P4S533-MX. Its what I have had for about 6 months, give or take alittle. I have a P4 2.4GHz w/ HT tech. Should I be considering a new mobo, and if so, which one would be good for a budget?

I don't think that mobo has a PCI bus lock, if I'm correct, then that's really limiting the O/C. Is your current mobo a microATX? What size case is the new mobo going in?

If you want the option to upgrade to a Prescott in the future, get the Abit IC7-G. If you'll only be using the Northwood in the new mobo, then an Abit IS7 will work.

Which is better for the cheaper value? I am a student with a part time job, so money is somewhat hard to come by. Plus, im having to save up for college as well.
