Windows media player classis with K-Lite Codec Pack.

Havent founda widely used format i cant play to this day.

Same here. I have yet to have any reason to switch.

I have used VLC on other computers and it seems to be great too. I just might as well stick with what I'm used to, though. :D

I picked MPC since that's what I use on my main computer most often when viewing clips off the web or something and it plays just about everything. I do use WMP10 once in a while, but not too often since MPC works just as well. On my 2nd PC, I use VLC Media player for watching DVD's

For music, I'm still using the trusty ol' Winamp on both PC's.

I'm surprised that so many people use WMP.

I use VLC, but my only gripe is it doesn’t show the video when you seek with the progress bar. I like how that works on the divx player.

VLC has got to be the coolest freaking Player there is.

1. WallPaper Mode: Movie Plays as Wallpaper, with Desktop Icons on Top of IT!
2. Streaming Output!

The swiss army knife of Media Players!

i use windows media player mostly for video and divx for some videos. and for audio i only use win amp. WINAMP IS awsome!!. thousands of free radio stations and shows, movies.... :p

PowerDVD, even for video files (unless I'm being lazy and just open it straight from Explorer). I had Zoom for awhile and liked it... not sure why I removed it.
When I've got a Linux box setup, it's xine for movies and videos.
