6800 Ultra 512mb card is here (and with a "free" PSU)

its not the dipping factor, its the over volting and killing all your stuff factor. some guy doing a mountain mods UFO case build fried loads of parts with one.

I'm with you on that. That PSU doesn't have any specs on it to judge from, best to avoid that. I'd be mad if some generic POS PSU fried my whole rig.

after seeing the specs I wouldn't be surprised if it had worse performance in everything compaired to the 256mb version seeing as the lowered the clock speed of the memory as well, 1050 vs 1100 so it's really like +$500 for 1-2 FPS less, what a deal

thats funny, it reminds me of a comedian, he sad that IBM was having trouble selling their laptops...they are 2G's, "now im no accounting genius" he says "but if you sell 400 at 700 rather than none at 2G's, you may actually do better, who came up with that price anyways, there in the meeting and someoe says
