Yeah, I was struggling to find enough bench space in the lab. to be honest. I was planning on using a spare fume hood to keep the thing really well vented, but one had P2S5/alumina in it (fatal by inhalation; 100 ppm causes pulmonary embolism) and the other had dimethyl sulfate in it (a known carcinogen and mutagen) so I didn't go there ...

Water + electron movement = death.
Water + no electron movement = non-death.

Just have to be really sure it is dry before you fire it up again.
I usually do that by heating the board up to 140-170*f for a while, water doesn't stick around at those temps very long.

Will hopefully have the GPU under LN2 either tonight or tomorrow. I think I have about 20-25L left.

Here's a few of my money shots. Some very heavy ice buildup for just dry ice.

or did you run out of acetone at the last minute?

ballsy putting the vodka on your PSU!

Crazy amount of ice there for DIce.
You need better vodka :p

Yeah, I couldn't believe how much ice built up on the pot. Yeah the psu has a drinking problem, so we buy it the cheapest stuff we can. I keep telling it that it's not safe for it to be drinking, but it just can't seem to put the bottle down. It's actually my roommates, I am a whiskey guy myself.
