BH6 1.0x / P2B stepping question

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone here has an old style Bh6 (not the newer 1.1) with a D-stepping cpu. (cD0)

I checked all the entries in the DB.. and several other forums already.. inconclusive.

Also.. if someone has tried it and didn't work lemme know too ok

The above question applies to P2B rev 1.04 too..
(I know that this mobo has a 1.80V minimum output and that it can be solved with a slotkey)

Properties of D-step cpu's:
Core V standard is 1.75V
ID = 068A
Celeron2 900mhz and up are all D-step.
P3-1100 too.

I think I have an old bh6 rev 1.00. How can I tell, I can tell you that all of the plugins are black... I am running an 850 celeron @1133mhz... 1.60v... I am using an asus slotket.

You can tell by looking at first boot screen the bios name..
The last two letters are the bios revision.

For instance. I have SS as the last 2 letters.
That´s the latest bios for the rev. 1.0x BH6


1133. nice oc. but that could be a cC0 chip.

i think that would show up as:
Type 0
Family 6
Model 8
Stepping 10

Yes, I know mine cDo core.. And I do have a rev 1.00 BH6, the last two letters say SS (I updated it).. I know th cDo cores are overclocking very well, if you check the databse. and to answer your question, this Celeron works great in the bh6, no problems so far at all

the standard voltage was 1.75 on your chip right?

If it's 1.60 now it could go even higher than 1133..
But held back by the 133 maximum fsb on the bh6 1.00

Cool that looks interesting. My chip said 1.75 voltage required, but it runs great at 1.600v and 1133mhz. It runs more stable than my 300a@450 did... I might be getting a new motherboard for my chip, to see what it can really do, but I can't justifty spending too much cash on it, cause I am planning a new build in a couple weeks...
