That IS a good deal. I paid like $225 for mine when they first came out, but I stupidly didn't send in my $20 rebate.

I really need to get new glasses or this 'new math' is throwing me. $106 - 20 (rebate) = $166 ???

How noisy are these guys? I hear that they're worse than most other hdd's since they spin so much faster...

They are loud, but not much more than any other drive. Its a lot worse if the vibrations are amplified through the case though. I need to get around to fixing that...
