i just got these speakers and noticed that i have to turn the volume up pretty high to hear it, at least 15-20 to hear anything, i was wondering how high you guys usually turn the volume up when you guys use it, thanks

I don't run 5.1s, but on my 4.1s I run them around 9-12, 9 being nice listening, 12 is loud for near field. The range is from 7 to 5 o'clock.

hmm you must have an analog dial, mines digital, what is the max level on yours? mines is 0-80, 60+ is loud for near field, 40-55 is what i have it at which is a little close to the max

What sound card do you have?

SB Audigy 2, and I run the speakers at 50-60 and control the volume in WinAmp, or the application I am using.
