    Best deal on hard drives

I'm buying the hard drives for a new system and found this deal for storage.

    4 WD 7200prm 250GB 8MB hard drives for $104 each, $416 total.
    They are WD2500JD drives.

Are there better deals out there, where? Are the drives I selected crap, they are mainly for file storage, I have a raptor for programs and the OS.

    Suggestions?

That seems to be a good price. The least expensive on pricewatch was 103.00 shipped, but I'd check the resellerratings on any vendor. There may be similar drives with rebates or sales, but I haven't looked there.

For storage, these drives are good and likely to be a bit of overkill on specs. This is not a bad thing.

Remember to backup anything you can't risk. Your data is only as safe as your last confirmed backup.
