My current memory 2x 512mb GeiL Value Series is bottling out at ~225mhz with 2.5-4-4-8 timings and 2.7v running to it. I'm running the memory divider at ddr333 so I'm only hitting 2.43GHz (270 HTT). I know my little 3000+ venice can hit 2.7+ since I'm only running it at stock voltage right now. What's some good memory out there that won't limit my OC experience. Also I'm only trying to spend ~$120-160.

Dish out $14 more and get some OCZ EL Platinum Revision 2, they should do you fine.

:welcome: to the forums....

What motherboard are you using? Do you have anything against UTT or other low latancy ram?

If you still want to keep it at 333, and go with a a stick that does 240-250 go with g.skill zx for 80-110 a gig.
