Removing GRUB 2 loader

The hard drive that had my Fedora Core 3 on it died on me the other day. Now, I'm stuck with the grub loader giving me the option to load linux or windows.. If I'm not quick enough (3 seconds), it tries loading Linux, but, since the drive is no longer there, it errors out.

So, my question is.. How do I remove the loader so that I just boot into XP?

boot off a windows boot disk then run fdisk /mbr I believe to remove grub and go back to the windows only.

That worked.. I suppose had I googled it first, I would have gotten the same answer.
