Is there any way to lock SATA ports 1 and 2? I know 3 and 4 are locked, but I really need 1 and 2 locked too.

Sorry, but there is no way to lock them. It is possible, though not very likely, that a bios update might fix it, but don't hold your breath.

By Bios upgrade - No
Detail - Sata 1/2 - Marvel PHY
Even new Nforce3 boards are effected - like DFI LanParty UT NF3 Ultra (Socket 939) Motherboard (MB-016-DF)
best work around if your short of ports is a PCI card or mobo upgrade to Neo4.
