Intel price cuts on Dothans?

I thought they were going to cut the prices by 1/3 in July?

They cut prices several times a year. Depends on current inventory and what is coming down the pipe. Back in August of last year Intel said it was delaying the official launch of its 4-GHz Pentium 4 processor until early 2005 vs. the end of 2004. Then they scrapped that and decided to keep it at 3.8GHz and upped the cache size. Even the best laid plans can change. You just never know.
