Is this change of memory worth it?

I currently have GeiL DDR500 memory which runs at 2.5-3-3-7 @ 233mhz (2.52GHZ 6:5 divider) however it must be at 2.5-4-4-7 to run 2.61ghz. I'm wondering if it's worth it to send this memory back and for $40 more get the OCZ EL Platinum rev2 memory and run it at 2-3-3-5 or 2-2-2-5 @ 233-235mhz or even 1:1 at 280/290. Are the performance gains from 2.5-4-4-7 to 2-2-2-5 worth it? And also is there a big difference in gaming when running the 1:1 divider?

That TCCD is sad at 230mhz rseven :(
I here ya. I can run to 275MHz 1:1 at 3-4-4-8, but no higher. Of I had an 11:12 divider I could run it at 253mhz at 2.5-3-3-7, but my msi board doesn't have one and I can't get the A64 tweaker to do it either. So, sadly, I'm stuck with with I have. At least I have this board stable, which is a good thing.
