Hey,

My friend just bought something off NewEgg.

Under the assumption it was DDR2, but it was mislabled.

Does he need to pay the restocking fee if it's a NewEgg mislabel?
(I took screenies w/ date & time incase NE decides to pull a fast one ;))
 
you shouldn't your friend should call them to request an RMA, and push until the waive the Restocking fee, it was neweggs mistake not yours.

We also have a newegg rep on the forums, you should PM him first, he might be able to get it done faster for you
 
I know I shouldn't, he's going to.

Okay, they waived the restocking fee, but still making him pay shipping. Oh well.
