Not sure if this belongs here or not, but.. here goes..
A user in my work network sent me an e-mail asking a question about an e-mail address. It seems that he recieved an e-mail, that was also CC to another user in our network, only the CC was to FIRSTNAME.LASTNAME.EXCHANGE@MYCOMPANY. COM
The .EXCHANGE is not part of our e-mail and we can't figure out how it got in there. We are using Groupwise 6 as our e-mail client, I'm not sure what the outside company is using. I would guess exchange, but I could be wrong.
To the best of my knowledge, the outside company does have the correct e-mail address for the user.
Anyone have any clues as to how/why the .EXCHANGE would be added?
Thanks.
Lee
