I have been out of the loop for a while now what ram is carring UTT chips or if there is something better what? I am looking for one gig.

Well the cheapest that you can get is with the TwinMos SP which are BH-5's but they are hard to find.
Also you could get some XP3200's which are not to pricy or OCZ Value VX sticks.
