mouse problem

well I am setting up an old computer and now have win3.1 installed on it, but i cant for the life of me seem to get a mouse to run on it, i have the logitech mouse installed , but and programs that require a mouse say i do not have a mouse ...plz help!!!!!

Is it serial or PS2? Depending on which you have, make sure that you have that port enabled in the BIOS. It is possible that you have an IRQ conflict too. I don't know how to check in Win 3.1.

ok, to clues to the type, old comp, win31, and i do have it enabled in bios, and as for irq, any one else know?
