The Oil psu

One reason I can think of is that its $50/quart. But if you happen to have an overabundance of money, you could just buy a fluid xp psu directly from the company for $200, rather than using those $100 bills to light your fat cigars. :)
 
Paraffin oil = Liquid paraffin (latin: Paraffinum liquidum) = Mineral oil

Atleast this is the pharmaceutical definition.

Medical quality liquid paraffin can be found in drug stores.

Wow thanks for the responses guys... lol I dont think im gonna pay $50/quart for that stuff, lol... as for the psu its drained and back in the bottle... if I do get a different type of oil I can test the conductivity with my multimeter before I actually try it...
 
Hmmm, perhaps motor oil? Get a very thin viscosity, SAE 30 or something, shouldn't conduct at all, and won't go bad.
