I am running a power hungry prescott Celeron D at 3.8 (Vcore needs to go up more than a volt to 1.7++ to get it higher) and have found that the system becomes instable at 53C, while at 52C and below it is stable for days.

Being that my motherboard is an IC7-G, the temperature readings supposedly read up to 10C too high. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? Thanks.

If you are running 1.7+ volts, I'm surprised your system has survived this long. You sure it's a Celeron D or is it a Northwood Celeron?
