Barebone notebooks

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a notebook and I'm wondering what a barebone kit comes with. Does it include an optical drive? Battery? I'm just curious what I need to add.

a barebone comes with a mobo, screen, cooling system and most of the peripheral connections ports and a battery + charger, and of course the casing and keyboard.

Usually no optical drives, sometimes RAM or a harddrive.
