    Memory question

Does it matter if you mix the brands of memory? They say you should stick with just crucial or just micron but not mix them. Has anybody heard of anything on this, or what do you think?

It shouldn't. BTW Curcial is Micron's retail outlet. If you look at the chips you will see a MT(Micron Technologies). DDR tends to be a little more picky then sdram.

Erick is correct. The best way to find out is to test. If you already have another stick that you want to try..try it. If you're thinking of purchasing additional memory, you would probably be better off keeping the brand the same, or spending a little more dough for better memory.
