Iam wondering if when o/c ing my X800 Pro agp's memory that going just a little over stock that it should raise the temps by 10 degrees. For every 3 numbers over stock it raises by about that in degrees as well.

It jumped from 40 at idle to 50 C. I dont feel the need to push it and my core clock will go to 550 without artifacts. Do you ever change the timings on a video card or is that asking for fried card syndrome?

Yeah... I think it's agreed that every 10 degree increase reduces the lifetime of the card by half... if you can live without the few FPS's you're going to miss, why don't you enjoy what you have for twice the time?
