    Swiftech 5 1/4 res keeps leaking

    I have tried two now both leak where I screw the barbs into the tanks. I tried ptf tabe (white teflon) but they keep leaking. Any ideas?

    any kind of silicone will work just fine. Just lace the threads and screw it back in

    Mine used to leak too, until I covered the fittings in silicone sealant.

    Look for some RTV marine sealant at a local boating store.

    wrap the barb with plumbers tape 4 or 5 times and ur good.
