I have a 3 year old Alienware Area-51m laptop. The proc shows as Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU 3.06Ghz in WinXP device manager. Unfortunately the laptop has all but died, but the proc is still good. I am seriously considering building a system off of it, but I have no idea what chipset/pin config it is. The only thing I know for sure is that it is a desktop proc, not a mobile. Is there a way to find out without ripping it apart?

Figures heh, it will take a bit, I will post the info asap.

Thanks for the quick reply.
