Fastest? P4 2.80GHZ/512/400 or P4 2.40GHZ/512/533?

I have two Pentium 4 processors to upgrade my PC. I have tested both out. One is a Pentium 4 2.80GHZ/512/400 (w/ SSPEC #SL7EY China) and the other a Pentium 4 2.40GHZ/512/533 (w/ SSPEC #SL6PC Malay.) Which one would be the fastest to use if the motherboard accepts both types of processors?

I have issues with the motherboard BIOS of my PC not seeing a 533 FSB but it seems to be faster with it running the 2.40MHZ/512/533 since I also upgraded the memory to PC2700. Hewlett-Packard says my ASUS board only accepts PC2100. I wonder if the memory works better with the 533 FSB processor even though it is downlclocked to 1.8GHz because the motherboard only sees a 400 FSB? It does seem a bit more quicker when opening the Windows Control Panel.

Oh yeah, the Pentium 4 2.80MHZ/512/400 processor only "sees" 2400 MHz in the BIOS. I don't need help with my BIOS (see other post) but just want to know by default which of these two Pentium 4 processors is fastest.

you probaly should get a new motherboard. It would solve your problem with your processors.

Any way I might bewrong...but I believe the 2.4/533 FSB will be faster. If you oc it to 2.8 then for sure it will be.
