This is just a quick question. I did a few searches on this but couldn't find anything (also looked in the forums). When my computer starts up it does the BIOS load and then it freezes for about 1-2 min when it is "Verifying DIM Pool Data". The question i have is, what does this even mean and why does it take so long?

There should be an option in the bios to "clear dmi pool data." This is the same as the "Reset Configuration Data" (may be "Force Update ESCD" in some CMOS Setups) listed in the link. Try that. If that doesn't work clear the cmos (*** mentioned in the link). I once had a computer that would never get past there that had a corrupt bios. A hot flash with the latest bios fixed the problem.
