What's a quality program I could use for composing a Capella music for my group? I'm looking for something streamlined, I don't need many bells and whistles. Preferably free, but I'm willing to pay a small amount. Ideas? Thanks.

I always write by hand, but eh.

I used to have a program called Mozart that did just that, and it would play back the music in midi. Dunno if it's still around or not.

Haha, it's the one program I've downloaded and tried. It's rudimentary, but I'm not willing to spend $80 on it.

finaly is perfect, even though it has bells and whistles, its easy to use. Unless you pirated it (which I don't condone) it'd be too expensivo
