My voltmodded 9800 pro, after working fine for more than two years, is acting up. When I turn on my computer all I see is something that looks like a cross between scrambled porn and contemporary art. After rebooting my computer between 12-24 times, the screen looks completly fine. Once it boots I have no problems playing graphic intense games and ATItool shows no artifacts. I know its the card because the same thing happend when I put it in another computer. I cleaned the gold teeth with rubbing alcohol several times; this seemed to help the first few times, but now it does nothing. I currently do not have the card overclocked, and it is being cooled with ramsinks that were attached with thermal epoxy and a vga silencer.

The obvious workarround would be to just leave my comp on 24/7 but I am too light a sleeper.

I don't even remember...and due to the fact that I havn't changed the voltages in years, i don't feel like getting my multimeter out..... i just bought a 9600xt to replace it (yea i know a bit of a downgrade but i need cash right now) and ill probably sell the 9800 pro and the vga silencer
