Behavior in this room.

Guys, our admins were very gracious to grant us this room here. However, please don't go wild in here. This isn't a place for F@H vs. SETI. We aren't here to argue who's DC project is better or worth more to science or has the greatest potential.

We have this room because there are DC projects that are neither F@H nor SETI. Even though SETI has technically moved to the BOINC system, SETI is still considered a major emphasis in the SETI room (duh ).

Here is a good place to talk about the OTHER BOINC projects such as FAQS about how to install/setup/use BOINC, or how each different project helps out a different type of research.

Also, just because the project isn't BOINC, doesn't mean it shouldn't go here. netDIMES is one such project that isn't BOINC based, but still belongs here as we have an official Overclockers team,(founded by moi... ). Another example is our Fine 17orBUST team.

Remember, we come in here to share information, and to find a home for those projects that aren't F@H and SETI. Keep bashing of other projects to yourself as it will only hurt all DC projects here all around. But hey, for all we know, YOUR fave DC project that you founded a team for could be the next-big thing here on the forums!

Just keep us up to date on your fave DC project, keep FAQs flowing, keep helping the newbies, and keep up the recruiting, and let the good times roll(fold/crunch/dime/etc)!

Congrates on the new Forum Frank, I went and created a thread about BOINC, as your other thread seemed to show to me that not many people really know what BOINC is, or think its just a new SETI.
