    Slower 1GBx2 vs. Faster 512x2

Iím sorry if this was discussed already but I couldnít find a related thread.

Since 1 GB sticks achieve more relaxed timings then 512mb sticks, which setup will be better for overall computer performance:
    more relaxed timing 1gb x 2
    or
    tighter timing 512mb x 2

Examples of ram Iím currently looking at: (after rebate price is the same)

also I read that 1gb sticks donít overclock as well as 512, is that true?

right, but what about overclocking, I need to get at least DDR450 out of these, the 512 sticks have proven themselves but not the 1GB

Pick up 2 gigs of UCCC, it's cheap, OCs well, and will outperform any single gig for gaming and such.
