My current microATX set up...

2.93ghz Celeron D @ 3.3ghz
Asus, P5VDC-MX no voltage settings in BIOS.
1gig of DDR2 533 ram.
160gb HDD
6600GT, AGP

with a 400-500$ budget to upgrade what should I do?

Im about to watercool it this weekend, all the parts came in.

Personally, I'd dump that motherboard. The VIA chipset will hold you back for overclocking and with CPU upgrade options.

I know its bad for overclocking in the future I will get a different one. But it says it supports the newest CPU's. Dual cores, 65nm.
Whats the best MicroATX board for overclocking that supports DDR2. With socket 775.

Are you sure? When I checked the Asus website, I didn't see that it said Pentium D support. But, admittedly, I didn't look too closely. Some of those Nforce and VIA chipsets only run one core of the dual cores. I don't know for sure which micro is the best, but the Asus P5LD2-VM is definitely way better, fairly reasonably priced, and worth looking at.
