Prior to adding the SBL card and installing the SBL! software, I had my Iomega CDRW working on IDE1 (as master - drive D:) and my Acer DVD-ROM working on IDE2 (as slave - drive E:).
After Adding the sound card and the SBL! software, upon the last reboot my system no longer showed my CDRW!!! Both the DVD and the CDRW appear in the device manager (and says it is working properly) but in Windows Explorer or through MyComputer, only drive D: is displayed, and this is now my DVD-ROM.
I have tried rebooting several times, but each attempt fails to show my CDRW.
What happened to my CDRW?? How can I get it back??
Thanks!
My setup is:
AMD 1.2/266 with an ABIT KT7A-Raid 512MB Ram
2xWD 40GB ATA/100 (Raid-0)
Radeon DDR64 (AGP)
Dlink NIC (PCI-3)
SBL Plat (PCI-4)
And for what it is worth, the SBL! is sharing IRQ 9 w/ the Serial Bus Controllers!

All you have to do is disable the sb emulation in the device manager, If it still doesn't help assign IRQ5 for you SB Live.
