I would almost have to do this out of principle but its a bit to risky for me...

i have canceled my order until dell fixes the banding issue. It appears that anyone that looks closely or uses photoshop with these monitors is having problems. Check out the dell forum for more discussion about the topic. It appears the DVI converter is faulty, VGA seems to work fine for people. I didnt want to deal with sending a brand new monitor back to dell as soon as i got it. Some people have exchanged numerous LCDs and they all have problems.

Gah! I'm having trouble finding the deals with an FPW option, all I see are FPs... I have a buddy who wants a new computer and doesn't care for the monitor.... =(
