Ok so i want a new psu. One that also comes precabled and doesnt have cooling problems.

I have rounded up these three and would like a decision.

My specs:
Intel 630 3Ghz (It is being overclocked)
ATi X1800XT
Soundblaster Audigy 2 zs
OCZ Platinum Dual 2gb PC4000
Asus p5gdc mobo
1 7200 RPM IDE hard drive
Few cathode lights and a few case fans

Choices:

FSP 600W ELIPSON

FSP 500W

OCZ Powerstream 520W

Ok so i know that the 600w forton looks really really good and is the best, but if not really neccessary for my setup please dont suggest it cuz i dont want to spend more then i have to..And if u know of anywhere i could get it cheaper I wouldnt mind knowning :)

Appreciate the help, great forums

you should be able to get away with any of those for that system, if you don't need to overclock a ton, just get the blue storm, if you want a nicer cpu overclock go for the powerstream

I would go for the Powerstream first, since you aren't running in Crossfire, and the Fortron Epsilon is limited to 15A for the CPU, which may not be enough depending on how hard you intend to overclock.

fx700 took a fx-60 overclocked heavily and two heavily overclocked x1900's without batting an eye lash, if i was buying a PSU now I would go with the 700 version

the 600 may not cut it for you though man, those intels overclocked are huge on wattage. probably would be ok for a system like mine with x-fire my 165 at 2.8 is about 200watts

Ok then im leaning towards the ocz power...i found one on sale.. Ok so can someone give me a explaination as to how the Voltage level switches work? I saw on the website and u can make it so its 600w, but like u can have single rail and dual rail...how is this possible? it says when its at 520w its single but it can be upped to dual rail??? with 20a and 18a???

PowerStream, the 520 is rocksolid and will wipe the floor with most 600w PSU's even some of Fotrons, but any of the above will do you well.

I like single rail PSU's but these numbers on all of those powerstreams are not very impressive esp that 600 dual rail. It does have wizbang lights though.
