    Talking New Computer on the way!

    Awhile back I posted what I thought was going to be my new computer, well, I decided I *must* have TES4: Oblivion! and I was getting sick of my computer crapping on all the new games :P

    Here's what I got, take in mind using my old RAM and HDD for a while until I can afford some new stuff Also managed to score a free flat CRT monitor from a garage sale last weekend

    AMD64 3000+ 'Venice' Proc. - $114
    ASRock Dual Sata II Motherboard - $39.99
    Connect3D Radeon X1800GTO Video Card $169.99 ($229.99 originally, $60 rebate FTW)
    NEC 3550A DVD Burner $40
    FSP AX450-PN PSU $50
    3 Round ATA Cables $3
    The game itself $42

    Reasons for choosing...

    X1800GTO - Chance to unlock pipes, good performer, good price
    AMD64 3000+ - Cheap, good overclocker, performance
    FSP AX450-PN - Quality PSU, what more can I say?
    Round Cables - I hate ribbon cables
    NEC 3550A - Good reviews, once again, solid
    Dual Sata II - Reliable chipset, many modifications, cheap, good

    I'll post pics when the parts come, which should be in a few days
