getting power from 2 USB ports??

Could someone please tell me how to go about wiring up a cable if I want to get power from two USB ports?

An example would be the 2.5" drive enclosures, which have a cable that allows you to use two USB plugs if one plug doesn't give enough juice.

So essentially I'd like to know if it's as simple as plugging the 5 volt cable (red) into two USB ports to get more milliapps. I'd really appreciate a quick reply. I have a mod which is 99.9% done but I didn't think ahead and now I need to give it more juice than one USB port supports. If you need more info then I can give it out, but I'd rather just get ths working so I can make a nice thread about my latest mod.

anybody? All I need to know is if I connect a device to two USB ports' 5volt lines, if I'll be getting 10 volts or just more amps. I know someone here knows.. would I get a faster response in the volt modding forum?

I think you would get a better response from the volt mod section.
