PIX PDM not accessible Java problem

Has anyone else had their PIX become unaccessable due to a Java update? Java prevents me from launching the PDM now.

Thanks Sun, I now have a $300 brick.

Either rollback the JVM to an earlier version, use the MS JVM if available on your system, or bust out the serial cables. We prefer the latter.

A brick? I hope not. Why can't you ssh into the pix?

Rollback the java version or check for a new version of the PDM? I didn't have any problems using the latest version I think.

What kind of errors if any are you getting?

yes its a huge pain in the back side.

it will just get stuck at delivering settings to router... or sometimes wont load the gui at all.

only since new java was installed. why it isnt just a http based set up i dont know...

i think i ended up getting cisco SDM from somewhere....
