I forgot how I figured out it'll run on boinc, maybe from the main boinc page or something. If I remember correctly, I never could get the non-boinc client to work right:shrug:

you forgot to put prime95 up at the top

its got a lot of user base behind it

but its not as pretty as thouse other flashy programs

Not officially, but readyresponse's site and servers seem to be down, and the same with netdimes

edit: it looks like the dimes site is back up, not sure about the stats though

I have an update for ya...

The BBC Climate Change Experiment has closed to new users however, you can still participate in the climateprediction.net experiment.

I'm not sure how it should be labeled, but we don't want to waste anyone's time.

Here's a new BOINC project (still in beta) that I think should be on the list.

Spinhenge@home - Homepage
Project Goal: The study of molecular magnets and controlled nanoscale magnetism. These magnetic molecules may be used to develop tiny magnetic switches, with applications in medicine (such as local tumor chemotherapy) and biotechnology.
Stats Link: http://spin.fh-bielefeld.de/team_display.php?teamid=234
Platforms: Windows

I've been running it for about 12 hours now with no problems. The work units are tiny (about 1 hour) so if you need constant gratification, this is the project for you.

So it looks like Red Library is really gone.
Well, it hasn't been up for a long time.
Dc-vault also eliminated it from their list a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, for the time being it is dead. I read on their forums that they are working on v2.0, but there is no set release date now
