hey I'm really hoping that someone here can help me out. I've wasted most of the day on this and if I dont find a solution fast I may end up in a mental institution.
Ok here is the big problem in black and white. (god I'm really starting to lose it)
My friend has a computer that has a dying 10GB drive so I bought a 40GB Seagate off of a forum member here. The drive came today and I got straight to work so I could finish the job quick and have some time to chill. Not what the drive had in mind.
The drive shows up in the BIOS, and Device manager, as well as various partitioning/zero writing tools.
It does NOT show up in Windows Explorer OR Disk Management (Local)
I'm not able to install windows on it, yet it is detected. What gives?
I'm ready for any questions and suggestions!
