Hi all, I have just started crunching for S@H Boinc again and desided to join the Overclockers.com seti team

My SETI account is 'Hatch Hill Farm' currently in your top 25, I aim to be in your top 10 within a week or two if I can do it, and hope my crunching can help Overclockers.com in the team ranks

Cheers,
Berkinh

Hi guys thanks for the welcome :)

eaglescouter: Apparently I have just reached rank 19!
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_display.php?teamid=30199

Here is a list of the systems I have running seti for me. For simplicity I will list just the processors:

10 x Intel Pentium D 2.8GHz
9 x Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz
4 x Intel Pentium 4 1.5GHz
1 x Intel Pentium M 2.13GHz @ 2.56GHz
2 x Intel Xeon 3.06GHz
1 x Intel Xeon 2.0GHz
1 x Intel PIII 1133MHz
1 x Intel T2400 @ 1.83GHz
1 x AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800 @ 2.4GHz
1 x Intel Pentium 4-M 2.2GHz
1 x Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz

I think thats about it at the moment there are a few others, and I am adding more soon. Not all of the above are currently crunching though, a few of them have not managed to download any WU's yet!

Holy cow, that's a bunch of power! Let's see, that's what, about 43 cores? Not counting hyperthreading, which is "effectively" worth about 1.5 cores if activated.

Anyway, a big welcome from me too!

Hey FloridaBear, Thanks for the welcome, yeah 43 cores.. thats one way of looking at it! Not bad eh :)

Nice

Thanks for the Welcomes :)

Hi Vento1, Yeah I have some serious horsepower, but I think it will be a while before I reach your kind of rank...

Would any of you advise the use of an optimized version of Boinc, I am considering trying one (if there are any suitable) for some of my computers to see If I can push my average up a little more :p

Thanks, I have optimized a couple of my clients now to see what difference it will make.

I have just checked my stats within the team and see that I have more than reached my target of top 10 for recent average credit. Currently 4th !

I will keep it up for as long as I can, at my current rate I might even make it into your top 10 for overall credit, in a few months :p
