How accurate is the CPU heat sensor on the 8KHA+?

Depends on the heatsink (and whether or not it can actually touch the chip like my Epox can't). If it's just sitting back there testing the air...then not very.

Here is a good article on this.

I love the new "sig" Red....LOL :p

Keep us informed of your progress, until the RAF knocks on the door....:(

Sounds like you're having fun...I'm jealous. I want one too...;)

What are your temps? I am running the same mobo and similar HSF (Swifty MCX462). I am at 24c at mobo and 33c at CPU. This is idle (well light usage anyway!) at 1.88 vcore 2.7 ddr voltage and a 149 FSB. I have 7 case fans though :D

I've just got it set up stock just now (the performance boost over a PIII 600 is nice.....)

MBM and the BIOS are reading the core as 39C and the case as 27C

Another question: Where exactly are the three temp sensors? I'm hunting on the net, but any info appreciated.

How do you do the pencil trick? ;)

It appears that some are missing something... :D

You use a good chicken to do it. :)
