It figures... I'm at my folks who are hitting seventy and theres something seriously wrong with their up and down. My father has exactly the same package as me yet the performance drop off is astounding. :D

I think the hamster up his exchange needs to peddle faster. :-/

It's disgusting... At that speed he could drop off the mortal coil waiting for his email to open. Erm, not that he could find or access it anyhow. :D

Think I'll contact the ip and ask if they can pop some viagra in the system... Or at least offer a discount for the poor performance. :sly:

Upgrades. Actually getting faster than what I pay for (FiOS 50/50). Still getting pretty close to that in real life situations too, Steam downloads tend to top out just under 7MB/s while streaming Amazon Prime.
 
lol I call Comcast back today, they sent a tech out to see if my house could be added...... well what they told me was funny, the person on the phone almost crapped herself! it would cost $60,000 to run a Cable to my house.... and they are not too far down the road,
well I guess I will be stuck with 1.5mb down 400kb up forever!

Get your nearest cable neighbour to put four or six 802.11ac cantennas on their roof and point them at you :p

i can't breath.... it takes me 2 nights to download a 2.5GB movie, becasue my net is only free from 3to7am , and you do that in 17 seconds, it took me a month to get tf2 and wow update(cata), i leave my pc to download a youtube movie if i get lucky enoguh to use https, you can watch hd ones without problem... :drool:
